If I wanted to record a show from the TV all I have to do is hook up a VCR and attach the appropriate cables to my computer and copy it to my hard drive. (Which is perfectly fine under Fair Use Laws; it is the same as recording to your VHS tapes). Now: let's say I didn't know how to do that, and I ask my son to do so. He does so, and then I watch it on my computer when I have the time. How is this scenario different from just having some random person online doing the recording for me?
